Greetings Nobles and Ladies

Although it is summer, and we are dark, we are still busy with our Shrine and work.  We kicked off the season with the Oil Bowl.  I would like to thank everyone that helped pull it off. Our attedance was way down this year due to rescheduling.  It was held the first week of June rather than the second. This caused a severe decrease in players signing up. We plan to do better going forward with better time exposures and communications with players and coaches.

Then, TSA was held the second week of june. We had a decent turn out for this  The Porvost Guard had a great showing and won several medals. The Divan had a great time and visited the shoot. We had a wonderful hospitality room setup, and our Oriental Guide did a superb job running it.

Finally, we had Imperial Session with our Jr Past Potentate, Bill Hammach, attending. I have not had the opportunity to speak with him regarding the votes and changes taking place, but will look forward to having him discuss it at the September stated meeting.

We are still having our Happy Hour at the Oasis each month.  For June, 19 people attended and had a fun time.  I remind everyone that we will meet again August 21st for Happy Hour. We still have an exciting schedule of activities lined up for tis Fall. Please keep an eye on our Calendar of Events, emails, and calls.
